Job Interview and New Cd's

Hey there!

This always happens to me as soon as I decide to give up on what ever it always turns up or happens! In this cause I'm taking about a job. Like 2 weeks ago I was apply for jobs nearly every night and giving my CV out in town.

After nothing happening I got fed up of trying an I got a call for an interview wooo! It's for a part time job at CaX, which is one of those shops you can selling or buy gadgets, games, films and Cd's. Doesn't could the most interesting to most people but I don't think it will  be to bad as I'm a BIG music and film geek. I'm just worried that I need to be a gamer to have the job.

... Well I'll find out tomorrow finger crossed!

I think I'm on of the only people that still buys physical Cd's over download but I just prefer it and there normal like 2/3 pound more.

Anyway I've just got the London Grammar and Chvrches albums, they're both brilliant so if you're wanting to buy or download a couple of albums I recommend both. They're both really calm and chilled out quite indie.

Confused!?!?!? And dreads

I know I'm only 17 but I feel under so much pressure for me to decide what I want to do with the rest of my life right now, really think maybe I should but I keep changing my mind like every five minutes I mean I'm only young. Shouldn't we be having fun, messing up and not taking life seriously?

This new college year I said to myself this year I'm just going to concentrating on my college work and try and get a job. But it's SOOOOO damn boring! This really isn't for me.

I think I'm one of those people that just dosn't want to take life seriously I just like to have fun like with friends, but I really really really want to get a job so I can save to see the world but its just so hard to find one and feels really degrading and shit that I'm trying so hard to get one and keep up with my college work but I just can't.

Maybe I do need to be a bit more serious though or grow up a little :/

Meeeeh, think it's time to go back to doing stuff I like and enjoy (going out, getting drunk and just enjoying life as it comes). But I'll still be blogging

Ohhh Yeah I completely forgot today I made a dread, yaay it was actually so easy to do I've been waiting for my braids to grow out because that create dread but I was just impatient  I've wanted them for so long now so I typed it into you tube to find a video and it's really easy. Here's a helpful link if you interested...

Desert Booties!

Like ankle boots I think are perfect for Autumn and Winter as they can be warn dressed up and dressed down. Personally I love a pair of desert boots, not sure why but I've always warn them for as long as I remember. There just comfy and can be warn with jeans, skirts shorts...

These desert boots are Clarks Originals, which are the 'real' one. These are the last type I owned. They're £80 which is a lot but I wore them near enough everyday in all weathers, snow, rain, sun, they went in the sea, they went to festivals and lasted 2 year. Definitely think I got my moneys worth out of them.

The shoes I always find myself wearing are Converse and was my desert boots. But as I'm currently bootless I'm feeling pretty lost! And I don't have £80 spare for another pair :( :'( :(

Lately I have been having really good luck out with finding bargains on Ebay, so I returned to the site in search of a cheap pair of the beloved boots, and yay I found some! :D

At the moment I'm torn between getting the savanna pair, dark brown or the sand ones. Any advice?!?

I'll let you know how I get on with them and what colour I decide on. Also they'll be a links to both shoes at the bottom

Janelle Monáe and Cocos Lovers

Janelle Monáe and Chic

Even though I can't play any instruments or sing music is probably my biggest passion in life! Sounds very cheesy but it is, I actually like and appreciate most genres of music but scream'o and dubstep.

Itunes host a free festival at The Roundhouse in London which is just round the corner from Candom , they have an event on every night for the month.

My Dad won 2 tickets for Chic and Jenelle Monáe, I saw Janelle Monáe on tv at Glastonbury a couple of years back wish looked really good that's why I agreed to go. But she was absolutely amazing! The crowed just loved her and she got everyone to lay on the floor, the whole group just had so much energy. So if you ever do get the chance to see her make sure you take it, I definitely rate her.

Also I've seen Chic before at Lounge on The Farm but at the Roundhouse they was so much better, it was just like a party and such a good vibe. I think the Roundhouse is such a good venue as its not to big you can see and get close to the stage.

Cocos Lovers

The group are quite local as they're from Deal, I think they're so good! I've seen them quite a few times now at local festivals but by far the best was at Smuggler Festival. Quite a folky band so if thats your thing check them out.

The youtube link below is a link to their new song 'Emily' which I can't seem to get out my head at the moment, so yhh give it a listen and let me know what you think

The BFI Top 100 Challenge

Bye, Bye Summer

Summer 2013 has been so amazing, I've had such a good summer and have been lucky enough to go to 6 festivals and in two days I'm off to Spain for the weekend, yay I can't wait!

Even though the summers almost over I'm quite excited to be going back to college and starting my new course. (TV and Film level 3) also it means Winters coming! Even though it means less party's and nights out I love winter and just the feel about it! Plus Winter outfits are so much more fun and cozy as you've got coats, boots, woolly jumpers and cardigans, more to choose from.

As I'm  a massive film geek and I'm starting a Tv and film course I need to watch a wind variety of films so I've set myself a task to watch The BFI's (The British Film Institute) top 100 Britsh films by the time the time I've finished college.

Wish me luck xx

££££ American AppareL ££££

I love the brand American Apparel, there clothing's so basic and just such good quietly but it's so so so over priced. At the moment I'm in love with the babydoll styled dresses there so pretty and easy to wear.

There's 12 different prints of the dress to choose from but this is my favorite (FYI it's called English Flower)

http://store.americanapparel.co.uk/product/?productId=rsarch302p

Knowing that American Apparels clothings overpriced I wasn't at all shocked seeing that the dress was £54.00! Which to me is a lot of money to spend on  such a simple piece. So me being me I searched for a cheaper stallion to this problem

Nothing feels more beneficial then wearing a styling and piece of clothing that you created!

For £5.96 you can buy a Pattern ( for you's of you that don't have a clue what I'm on about here you go... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattern_(sewing) ) for 4 dress in the same style as the american Apparel dress. What I like about making my own clothes is you can put your own spin on things and have the clothing fit you to how you please.

Blue and Green Should Never Be Seen

Ok... this blog isn't going to just be about shoes but I have a bit of an obsession at the moment. I love New Balance trainer and I just think these are amazing especially as the sporty looks in fashion. They's baby's are £64.99 which may seem a lot to some people for a pair of trainers but I think they're worth every penny.
